Our Garage door cable and springs snapped. It was hard finding a local Garage repair service going thru the Suffolk yellow pages. Precision ad in the yellow book was my third call on a Friday at 4:45pm. My Appt was scheduled for Monday. I received a email confirmation right after my phone call with the company with information and staff pictures. I felt I found a safe reliable good business who cared about customer service .Monday arrived and Hunter called after 8am to tell me my appt status and he called again to tell me his arrival time. Very impressed with respecting my time. Hunter arrived in a van as shown on the website ,showed ID and introduced himself. Very polite efficient service, Hunter explained all the parts needed and showed me them and explained the repair and made sure I agreed with the price of service before signing. The repair was complete , Hunter went thru what was replaced, we tested it out, I felt the door had a off balance flow, he saw it too and corrected the rollers and made sure I was happy before paying .I would recommend Precision, I was a little surprised with the high cost of replacement parts,but the service call and installation is included with the price. The cable was thicker, the wheels and springs heavier much better than what was installed with the door ten years ago from another supplier, the price does comes with a 3 yr warranty.Hunter did not over sell me with unnecessary parts. I agreed with the repair and I am overall very happy with service and repair.

Both service specialists, Tom Jenkofsky and his associate, Tim, we very professional and courteous. They called about 30-40 min. prior to arrival to give an exact time they would be here. The repairs were done in a timely manner and they would not leave until everything worked perfectly.

Tom Jenkofsky (the Service Specialist) thoroughly examined my garage doors and explained how to look for signs of parts in need of repair. He replaced the bottom weather stripping on both garage doors, and cleaned any dirt/sand/debris from inside the channel before performing the installation. Tom gave me a very comfortable feeling as a customer. Precision Door Service has lived up to their reputation, and I did not have to pay the service charge thanks to their deal with Angie's List members.

Tom was very professional and knowledgeable. He kept in touch by phone so we would know when he was on his way. He was able to fix our garage door opener which had stripped the gear. The best part is that he had a new one in his truck so I was able to start using my garage door as soon as he was done. He also performed a safety check and lubricated everything as well.
