Ryan arrived on time, was very courteous and professional. He did a thorough inspection of the entire mechanical garage door system. He lubricated all the necessary parts and pointed out a weakness in the cable line that may present a problem in the future. The technician, Ryan, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, personable and enthusiastic about his craft. However, I did not appreciate the minimum labor charge of $299 (for what appeared to be a minor remedy) for one hour’s worth of work, but which appeared to be less than one hour’s worth of work, with an additional fee to wind down the torsion spring for $75. With tax, I paid $406.26. Adding fuel to the fire, I selected Precision because of coupons received in the mail that were not ultimately useable, and when I called to state that I would like to use the coupons and better understand their billing practices, they made NO mention of the $299 minimum. I’ve had emergency garage door situations for more serious issues on emergency time frames where I paid less.
