Ryan grew up in Bohemia and currently lives in Rocky Point with his fiance, dog and two cats. After high school Ryan joined the army as an infantryman. After the Army he got his associates degree and played ice hockey at Suffolk County Community College. He is a die hard Islanders fan. His goal working at Precision is to create the best possible experience for all our customers.

The garage door wouldn’t stay closed. Then it wouldn’t open at all. I was desperate! Googled garage door repair. Your name came up with quick response time, local and good reviews. I called and I’m so glad I did. From the reception operator, Francesca, to instant text and email confirmation to bio and identification with a picture of the assigned technician, I was never so impressed with the professionalism of a company. Ryan arrived on time prepared to take care of the job. He was professional, knowledgeable and sweet. He assessed the problem and offered me a menu of suggestions with prices. He completed the work in record time and I could not be more pleased. My only regret is we have an incredible warranty now and may not need your service any time soon. Precision tech was ahead of schedule, which was fantastic as we did not have to wait around. Our garage door mechanics broke yesterday afternoon, we were unable to open or close the door. We called Precision right away and they immediately scheduled a visit for today. Ryan our technician arrived on time with multiple texts to us to notify us of his arrival time. Ryan could not have been more professional. He quickly and efficiently replaced our motor and installed a state of the art new system for us. Ryan was amazing. Thank you for your prompt service. We had Ryan S come to give us an estimate at my Dad’s house for 2 garage door openers. My father is having some health issues. He displayed such professionalism, patience and kindness to myself and my father. His work was neat, and immaculate. He was helpful from start to finish. The service appointment and communication before and after the appointment were excellent. The $150 trip visit and $299 minimum service charge for a fix that required straightening a bolt seems excessive.

I chose Precision Door Service based on the reviews on-line. I’m sure glad I did. They were beyond my expectations. The technician Ryan arrived on time, was knowledgeable and found the problem with the exiting garage door opener immediately. Ryan and his partner showed up right when they said they would. They were curtious and professional. Ryan inspected my whole set up and recommended what needed to be replaced immediately and what could be done to increase the longevity of my set up. No pressure to replace anything that didn’t need to be replaced. Once I decided what I wanted to replace they got right to work and had my garage door operational within an hour. Over all great experience would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their garage. They’re very knowledgeable and don’t pressure you into anything you don’t need/want.

Ryan Swan was an excellent technician. He described in detail the various components of my estimate and carefully installed my new garage door opener and springs. I wish the consultation fee would have been waived given my purchase of the opener and installation.
