I recently had my garage door serviced by Precision Garage Door of Long Island, and overall the experience was very positive. The technician who came out was excellent—professional, well-spoken, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything in detail, walked me through my options, and broke down the cost of each repair before starting any work. During the visit, he replaced the keypad, provided a small remote, installed new coils, added safety cables, and replaced around 20 small wheels on the tracks. The work itself was completed in about an hour, and everything is now functioning smoothly. The only downside for me was the price. The cost felt significantly higher than expected. Sticker shock. While I fully appreciate paying for quality service and expertise, the total cost felt quite high relative to the parts and time / labor (one hours) involved. That said, the workmanship and professionalism were top-notch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again if needed. If you’re looking for reliable, skilled service and are comfortable with premium pricing, they will take great care of you.

I was contacted as to when I could expect the technician to arrive. Danny introduced himself and upon inspection of my garage opener and springs, explained my 2 options clearly, with prices and warranties. The work was completed quickly and everything was cleaned up. I was then instructed on how to use the outside control panel. Danny was very patient when I messed up the code the first time. He did not leave until he was sure I could use everything correctly.

Today’s service is the second for me. Precision installed my opener 5 years ago and their extraordinary service stuck in my mind . I went online yesterday and set up a visit today to remedy a broken keypad. . Everything was as I remembered- communication was instantaneous from the start. Appointment timing was spot on, Israel took his time to explain the issue , replaced the unit, inspected/ lubed every aspect of the garage door. If only every repair service conducted themselves like Precision, home ownership wouldn’t be so stressful!
