Biggest scammers on the planet. We paid around $1100 for a garage door opener that you could purchase from home depot for around 3 to $400. I made piece with that price because the original tech that came to our house told my wife and I that if we had any problems in the future that they would come and fix it and Due to a recent illness, I am handicapped and figured that I could no longer do any work, so it sounded like a fair deal. the tech also made it sound that we would not be charged for problems given the high price tag premium that we paid. with that said. we had a problem with the key pad not working , they sent out a tech and my wife was charged $350 for what??????????? fixing a battery in a key pad? I thought that because we paid such a high premium for the origingal install, that we would not be charged or at least be charged something reasonable. l guess I was wrong. stay away from these scammers.

I chose Precision, from ads I saw on the internet. Although I didn't purchase my door from Precision, I didn't want to use the original company to repair what they installed initially. It was a horror show from the beginning! I was fed up with their tardiness and lack of professionalism and excuses. Anyway, I called Precision and made an appointment. They got back to me in less than an a half hour and scheduled me for later that day, then called me back to let me know they would be here in 25 minutes. Dave the mechanic showed up on time, reviewed my problem, gave me an estimate and proceeded to fix the problem! Although fixed, he suggested some additional work that would prevent the problem from reoccurring. Dave was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous! I would have him back anytime, in fact, I insist he be my personal "garage door Mechanic!"

My new garage door was installed yesterday. I am pleased with the entire process from ordering to installation. Brian, the technician who installed the door, was courteous and professional, and the total clean-up when the job was finished was impressive. There is one problem, however. There is a small dent in one of the panels which I was told would be replaced. Therefore, the job isn't totally complete, so I will write another review when it is.

I chose Precision Overhead Garage Door Service after seeing. their ad in a circular. It indicated #1 garage door service on Long Island. I wanted to see why. I also liked that they offered 24/7 availability and that i would be speaking with a live person. After making the initial call, i was able to make an appointment for the next day. The day of the service call I received text confirmation and also a picture and short bio on the technician coming. Israel Hixson was courteous and professional. we walked througjht the process of the repair and I ended up purchasing a new garage door. The whole process went quite smoothly.Precision met my expectations and then some. Detailed and thorough service with a smile.
