Our garage door keypad was not working and the door just wouldn't operate, so we contacted Precision Garage Door Service, as they installed our keypad. Nick arrived and it turned out to be a minor problem, as he had to just reprogram our keypad. For the cost of doing that, we decided to go with a new keypad as the cost was just $10 more. Nick also checked our entire system to see if anything else needed fixing. We were good, and I found Nick to be very honest and upfront. They are a good company, and they come when you call them. You do not have to wait over a week for them to come to your home.

Great all-around experience. Our technician evaluated our entire system, door, cables, rollers, etc. and made some recommendations. No pressure sales pitch, which was refreshing. We had new Liftmaster system installed and he did a neat and throughly professional job. Many thanks, and our experience couldn't have been better.

Biggest scammers on the planet. We paid around $1100 for a garage door opener that you could purchase from home depot for around 3 to $400. I made piece with that price because the original tech that came to our house told my wife and I that if we had any problems in the future that they would come and fix it and Due to a recent illness, I am handicapped and figured that I could no longer do any work, so it sounded like a fair deal. the tech also made it sound that we would not be charged for problems given the high price tag premium that we paid. with that said. we had a problem with the key pad not working , they sent out a tech and my wife was charged $350 for what??????????? fixing a battery in a key pad? I thought that because we paid such a high premium for the origingal install, that we would not be charged or at least be charged something reasonable. l guess I was wrong. stay away from these scammers.

10-7-2025 I had to replace my 22 year old Precision Garage door motor PDS-4600 with a Lift Master 8450R Secure view. My Technician Nicholas Urena was exceptionally Courteous he explained all the options carefully and allowed me to determine what fit my budget the best. I have only had (3) different Technicians over 22 years and all were Courteous. I am glad to have Precision Garage door. Nicholas Urena Thanks for your effort and service.

My 15 year old Sears Craftmen garage door opener had finally run its course. Nick came and advised it best to replace the unit with a new Geni model. Evidently the one part on the Sears product failed and was no longer available. Whether it was or not I thought it best to replace the entire unit. Nick accomplished the install in a few hours and did a great job. Happy to know that it has a 15 year warranty. Nick was knowledge and had a very focused friendly attitude. Thank You, Don Brown

I called Precision Door as I had a slight emergency with my garage door and honestly I was taken back with the ease and professionalism of the representative who booked my appointment My technician was John who was a total professional, knowledgeable and honest. He assessed the situation and explained the problem or potential problems and gave me 3 estimates for different stages of services and at no time was there any pressure to sell me the higher service which honestly impressed me . His work was clean and he took his time to make sure it was done right and that I was satisfied. Service tech arrived on schedule. Inspected the garage door and proceeded to measure and replace rubber seal on bottom of door. Commented on after inspecting door hinges and rollers. Recommended grease type lube for rollers and pulleys. John, the service tech, was very informative, courteous, and professional. He then explained we would have push hard down on the garage door with the new seal. I will inform friends about John and how professional he was.

After a quick call, a technician, Israel, was here within the hour, made a quick reset, and resolved the problem. There was no charge! Tech Lewis R, really great guy. Knowledgeable and trusting. I would hire him for my company. I needed a new opener due to age of system and a broken spring/ misc repairs. Prior homeowners install. Great job by Lewis. Very concerned about the price and the markup of stock items used. The lift master opener is a generic stock item selling retail for $400 max. Complete kit. Your price was $1700. Nylon rollers, Aircraft cable markup must be way over 10 times cost. I get tariffs but…. I needed the work done, your company is highly recommended and you get what you pay for. But that $3500 invoice for an opener install, springs, pulley + miscellaneous was high. I would recommend your company for the quality and personal. Price/cost not so much.

Three times I’ve used Precision Garage Door - 2 times in LI and one time in NC. Where possible, I endeavor to work with companies who specialize in their craft - that now includes garage doors. In all three instances, these guys have REALLY known their stuff and I’ve enjoyed a very positive experience across the board. As per the usual, I received a reminder the day before my appointment, which was helpful since I admittedly forget about it. Also per the usual, I received proactive updates on timing and a bio the technician prior to arrival. John was our guy today - he was professional, knowledgeable and clear in his communication - top grades in my view. My house in NC will need new springs in a year or so and I fully plan to use Precision for the job.
