My experience with Precision Garage Door Service was a positive one. I called on a Monday afternoon explaining my issue and was scheduled an appointment the following morning. The Company then texted me the name of the technician that would be assigned to my job an informed me he would be arriving around 10:30 the following morning. Kelvin text be 30 min before he arrived at 10:30. He assessed the problem and gave me an estimate for the repair. 1 1/2 later the garage door was fixed as his co. van comes equipped with parts. The work area was cleaned up & all old parts and components were taken away. From my initial call to the paid bill it was under 24 hrs. Kelvin was knowledgeable, component & respectful. The spring on our garage door broke late Sunday night so at 7:00 on Monday morning I called expecting to leave a message but a person answered and sent a repairman who arrived promptly at 8:00! Kelvin was cheerful, helpful and efficient. He explained options and pricing and then fixed the garage door. Everything was cleaned up and finished within the time specified. Very satisfied.

Second time I called Precision Glass for an emergency and they come the following day and fix the garage door the same day no matter what the problem was. Service is fast. Technician are professional, kind and knowledgeable. Kelvin was so nice! He did a great job when I thought it was going to take a week for parts. He did everything same day in freezing temperatures. The technician, Ryan, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, personable and enthusiastic about his craft. However, I did not appreciate the minimum labor charge of $299 (for what appeared to be a minor remedy) for one hour’s worth of work, but which appeared to be less than one hour’s worth of work, with an additional fee to wind down the torsion spring for $75. With tax, I paid $406.26. Adding fuel to the fire, I selected Precision because of coupons received in the mail that were not ultimately useable, and when I called to state that I would like to use the coupons and better understand their billing practices, they made NO mention of the $299 minimum. I’ve had emergency garage door situations for more serious issues on emergency time frames where I paid less.
