I needed 2 replacement springs for my garage door and the tech (Danny) took a look and gave me an initial quote of, get this, $1,200!! I was going to send him away but I let him explain what was included and what an alternate price was. He had a bare minimum price of $640 which was still way too high but I was in a bind because I could not open the door without springs and my car was in garage. I reluctantly agreed and the work done was fine (took about 40 minutes) but I’m so upset that I spent that much money unnecessarily. I checked YouTube and it is a very easy job to do yourself and I ordered from Amazon two140 lb springs and four 3 inch pulleys ( total cost $65) for the other door which I will do myself when I have a free hour.

On Monday, 1/22/24 - a crew with Shane Fazal (I am sorry did not get the seconds gentlemen's name) came to my home and repaired two garage doors. One garage door complete with new motor, remote control and keypad and hardware. The other linkages, rollers and cables. The two men were courteous and explained the job to me step by step. I would base on today's experience whole heartedly recommend Precision Garage Door and its personnel.

Used Precision 5 years ago to install a new door and was very satisfied. Currently had a problem with motor, called Precision and had a technician come out the next day (Robert Weber). Robert was very knowledgeable and courteous. He attempted to repair motor which was wet due to a ceiling leak. He indicated the adjustment he made might not work due to the components getting wet and I may need a new motor. He provided an estimate and I have an appointment to install the new motor next week.

This is the second time I scheduled maintenance with Precision Garage Doors. scheduling was easy and convenient. The first time I used the company the technician eliminated a screeching noise that was present each time I opened my garage door. Another company had told me the noise was normal and I had to live with it. On this second visit I needed to replace my garage door keypad which had stopped working. The technician, Corey, was knowledgeable and easily installed a new keypad. He also programmed a new remote I had as well as oiling the wheels on the garage door opener just to ensure future funcion. He went beyond my issues and I appreciate his knowledge and professionalism. I totally recommend this company.
