First of all, let me compliment this company on its communication with the homeowner before they even arrive. Second of all, it’s really nice to get a photograph of and a description of the installer. Israel, Hixson not only did an amazing job, but was so polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. It was a refreshing change. I give Precision garage door, the highest possible recommendation for quality service and courteous communication. If you have a garage door problem, do not hesitate to call them.

Picked Precision based on existing reviews. Excellent service provided by technician Israel Hixson, Additional comments: - Prefer to see a transparent pricing details (at least labor and parts - instead of one single number) - While the quality of work was great, the pricing($1395) appears to be higher than the averages in the local market I would recommend Precision to family and friends. Israel from Precision was very competent, professional and patient. He arrived on time, explained our options with associated considerations and costs, and answered all our questions. Then he completed a replacement of the garage door motor and some other parts, tested it all and helped us set up the app onto our phones. Overall a painless experience and job well done!

Today’s service is the second for me. Precision installed my opener 5 years ago and their extraordinary service stuck in my mind . I went online yesterday and set up a visit today to remedy a broken keypad. . Everything was as I remembered- communication was instantaneous from the start. Appointment timing was spot on, Israel took his time to explain the issue , replaced the unit, inspected/ lubed every aspect of the garage door. If only every repair service conducted themselves like Precision, home ownership wouldn’t be so stressful!
Hi Warren, We’re grateful you came back to us and are glad Israel delivered the thorough, attentive service you remembered. Thank you for choosing Precision Garage Door Service.

This was the 2nd time we had Precision Garage Door Service. We were extremely happy with your work both times, as well as your quick response. The garage door wouldn’t open and my car was trapped inside. Your technician Israel Hixson did a great job. Not only did he fix the problem he had to climb over various things that were also trapped in the garage. George Gilmartin

I chose Precision for my repair because Precision had installed my door in July 2019. The Tech who came to my house to do the repairs was Israel Hixson. Israel arrived on time and proceeded to do a very extensive review of the issues involved. Israel explained in a very professional and understandable manor what my options were. He proceeded to do all the repairs that were needed . He completed all the work very quickly which I appreciated. Israel Hixson is definitely an amazing asset to your company ! Thank you, again Israel !

Israel did a great job. Our garage needs new drywall, so there was nowhere to run wires (well), but he was very diligent in trying to run them cleanly and temporarily, pending putting new insulation and drywall in place. He also lubricated the door, and it moves much more smoothly and quietly -- I didn't request this extra step and there was no additional fee. Would definitely use this company again.
Hi Idris, We’re so glad Israel went above and beyond to make sure your wiring was handled as cleanly as possible and even took the extra step to lubricate your door for smoother, quieter operation! It’s great to hear you appreciated his diligence and care. Thank you for sharing your experience and for choosing Precision Garage Door Service.

It is a pleasure these days to find a company that is as professional as Precision. Not only did they respond to my problem, but the tech also advised me 40 minutes before his arrival, and I received his name and picture from the company office so I could be comfortable with who I was expecting. This was for a possible repair to door openers installed about 16 months ago. Though no specific reason could be identified as to what was causing my problem, some adjustments were made to the settings and I was told to let them know immediately if my problem reappeared. All done under my warranty by a very pleasant and informative representative. Thank you, Precision!
Hi Ted, We truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback! It’s great to hear that our team provided clear communication and made you feel comfortable throughout the process. We’re glad the adjustments were handled under warranty and that our technician was both pleasant and informative. Your trust means a lot to us. Thank you for choosing Precision Garage Door Service.

Excellent. Precision GDS has brought the garage door service business up to a level of professionalism that was formerly woefully absent in all the other GDS companies I have dealt with over the past forty years as a homeowner on LI. Highly recommend especially Israel H the tech who did our work. Communication was excellent, and their price was appropriate.
