Currently I'm completing my bachelor's degree at Farmingdale State College. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, producing music, and snowboarding/skateboarding. Precision Overhead Garage Door Service and John Aaron Hixson saved us in an emergency situation. On a freezing, windy, rainy Thursday night our garage door fell off the track and parts were damaged. The garage was open to the elements and impossible to close and lock. We called other services but only Precision Overhead Garage Door Service treated the situation as an urgent emergency. Within minutes of our desperate phone call, the technician, John Aaron Hixson arrived. He was extremely professional and skilled but also kind and helpful. He did an excellent repair job, patiently explained all options and answered our questions. His efficient and respectful demeanor calmed our stress and left us with a good feeling. In 2019 Jesse Cole did a great job replacing a broken spring and today John Hixson did a remarkable job not just replacing broken brackets supporting a spring, but repairing my garage door (which split in multiple spots when the brackets snapped) and placing metal support plates…very appreciative to not need a new garage door. We had a garage door service emergency one night (our car and our garage door had an unfortunate meeting...) that needed to be resolved the next morning, as we were literally moving overseas the next day and the repair needed to be done before the new owners took possession of the house.
