This is the second time I've had an experience with Precision. The 1st was to rebuild the door with new rollers and return springs. Today's was to attach an automatic door opener. A complete pleasurable experience. He worked clean, smart, and efficiently!

Several weeks ago, on the recommendation of two very satisfied customers, I called Precision. Our garage door had been very difficult to open. One day, it wouldn't open at all. They were great to deal with from the moment I called and they scheduled a technician to come next morning John Hixson the technician came immediately diagnosed the problem explained what was happening and the causes - Pulleys, Cables Fraying Springs Starting to Go and Rollers Start going bad and gave me a proposal to repair all and completed the repair within a little over an hour. Three times I’ve used Precision Garage Door - 2 times in LI and one time in NC. Where possible, I endeavor to work with companies who specialize in their craft - that now includes garage doors. In all three instances, these guys have REALLY known their stuff and I’ve enjoyed a very positive experience across the board. As per the usual, I received a reminder the day before my appointment, which was helpful since I admittedly forget about it. Also per the usual, I received proactive updates on timing and a bio the technician prior to arrival. John was our guy today - he was professional, knowledgeable and clear in his communication - top grades in my view. My house in NC will need new springs in a year or so and I fully plan to use Precision for the job.

We are completely satisfied with Precision Door’s business model, customer service and technicians. One of the rollers on our door came off the track on Thursday mid afternoon., so the door would not close. I called Precision at 4:00, and was offered an appointment for Friday between 8 and 12. I was contacted by John who stated he’d arrive around 9:45. He quickly determined the problem and repaired it promptly, under warrantee, no less!
