Five Stars! Professional, polite, knowledgeable, efficient and compassionate to our needs. I had a problem with my garage door opener. Through a thorough diagnostic, the technician realized that my springs were gapped and could be placing undo pressure on the motor; hence he suggested I replace the springs, and then he fixed the garage door opener. It's works perfectly now. Also, my technician was very sensitive to what I had in the garage; i.e. My Harley, and made certain there was no collateral damage.

I came accross the Precision website while looking for a company to repair my broken garage door opener. I chose Precision based on the fact they had so many outlets on L.I., great reviews, and very informative. From the initial appointment to the last screw that the technician put into the key pad it was a great experience and I am very happy for choosing Precisiion. The technician, Tom Jenkofsky, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable explained what had to be done and which opener was the best choice for my needs. Tom was very efficient, fast, explained exactly what he did and demonstrated how the unit works. He was so friendly and experienced I felt like I had a friend helping me fix my garage door opener. I was so satisfied that if its possible to give a rating higher than 5 stars I would give 5 stars to Tom and 5 stars to the company.

Tom Jenkofsky (the Service Specialist) thoroughly examined my garage doors and explained how to look for signs of parts in need of repair. He replaced the bottom weather stripping on both garage doors, and cleaned any dirt/sand/debris from inside the channel before performing the installation. Tom gave me a very comfortable feeling as a customer. Precision Door Service has lived up to their reputation, and I did not have to pay the service charge thanks to their deal with Angie's List members.

Tom was very professional and knowledgeable. He kept in touch by phone so we would know when he was on his way. He was able to fix our garage door opener which had stripped the gear. The best part is that he had a new one in his truck so I was able to start using my garage door as soon as he was done. He also performed a safety check and lubricated everything as well. Five stars plus...My garage door opener (Craftsman) stopped working and as luck would have it, the very next day I received Value-Pak with an ad for Precision. I decided to give them a call (rather than Sears) based on their very informative and professional website. Well, I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. I was given a window when Tom (the Precision tech) would be arriving, and he called ahead of time to advise when he would arrive. He was there on the dot. He proceeded to check out the problem and advised that a quick fix was possible but that since my opener was 16 years old, he recommended a new opener be installed after explaining the problems to me. I agreed that it was time to purchase a new one. Tom worked tirelessly in the freezing cold garage, never complaining and with a good-natured outlook. He was totally professional, highly competent, and very personable. My experience with Precision was the best. Assuming Precision's other techs are as great as Tom, I would recommend them without hesitation.
