Hi Brandon, Believe it or not, I chose Precision out of the Val U Pak coupons I got. I was looking for a garage door repair/replacement company for a while because our local guy retired and I didn't know who to call. I guess it was providence, because first of all I have never used a coupon from Val U Pak and I am so glad I did because Lewis Rodriguez was amazing. He explained everything, showed me what needed to be done on a as needed basis, breaking it down into what I should do first, second and last. I chose the middle option. He not only was professional, but polite, knowledgeable, and efficient, 45 minutes in and out. You are so lucky to have him and so was I. We are selling our house and we want to make sure that we transfer ownership of our house so it will be in the best and safest condition for the new owners. Lewis made the repairs and then showed me what exactly he did, and how the door now operates which is a lot better than when he got here. Thank you so much. The sticker is now by the garage door lighted switch so the new owners will know who to call in case of a need which I don't think will be for very long time thanks to Lewis. I was taken advantage of by the serviceman. I called for a keypad & two remotes. His first estimate was over $3500. When I said absolutely not, he gave a second package for $2400. I only wanted what I asked for. I was about to just pay for a service call because my neighbor said that was ridiculous compared to what he paid. All of a sudden, the price dropped to $375. He also did not give me options for the type of keypad. I definitely will NOT USE YOUR COMPANY AGAIN. Also, I will post in my 1100 home community bulletin - advising not to use your company.

My garage was completely busted, the wires were off the hinges, the power box was failing. I called precise at 10am and Lewis came at noon that day. Lewis was amazing, he did the diagnosis for free, gave us 3 options on how to proceed and in 2 hours, we had a perfect garage system hooked up to our phones and cars and ready to go

Precision Garage Door Service did a Fantastic job on repairing my garage door, Israel H. was very professional and knowledgable , arrived on time was neat and cleaned up after the service was completed, after realigning my garage door he installed a metal brace to secure the garage door opener to the wall, aligned the sensors, inspected the motor gears and sprocket and reset the trolly assembly,tightened all the nuts and bolts to the motor assembly. I would recommend Precision Garage Door Service and Israel H. to anyone needing garage door repairs or installing a new garage door opener.

I normally do not leave reviews, but in this instance i was not happy. I had called to have a service tech come out to have my door fixed, over the phone i was quoted between $240-$700 to replace a spring. When the service tech came i was told it would be $1,054 to replace the two overhead torsion springs. I went ahead with the work. To be honest i completely understand cost of materials and labor, but over 1k for two springs that probably cost $100 each and an hour to fix is outrageous. I was also told that if the door did not operate correctly because the opener had to be reset for stopping it would have been an additional $300, which takes no more than 5min. Im actually purchasing two new garage doors in the near future and i will be looking elsewhere

Labor Rate & Part Rates are very high. Precision Charges labor rate $ 299.00 + Tax which is very high in Garage Door Service Industries. All other service & parts rates are also very high. Even if you ask a simple technical question to the technician, they will tell you that we are going to charge for the service. Customer's shop round and ask the labor rate before contacting any companies.

Everyone at Precision was fantastic. The original person on the phone was courteous and helpful. The technician that came called me multiple times letting me know he was on his way and where he was and was also terrific when he got to our home. He explained everything that was going on and did a great job.
