I called in the morning because my two car garage door opener stopped working. The young lady who answered my call was courteous and set up an appointment in the early afternoon. At 12:30, after calling to say he was on the way, the service man, George, arrived. He quickly discovered the reason for the problem and even showed me a picture of where gears had been stripped on my 2003 opener. He priced a replacement for me. I asked when he would come back to do the work. To my amazement, he said he could do it right then. He completed the job in about an hour and a half. Very satisfied with George and Precision.

We have had the pleasure to call upon Precision Garage Door Service to handle necessary replacements of worn springs, cables and rollers at our family residences. Today, needed repairs were required on the remaining garage door assembly that was not properly corrected by a competitor company last year. This morning I had an emergency with my garage door , where the cable snapped and the spring broke. Not knowing who to call, precision was the first name that came up on goggle, so I read through all the customer reviews and decided to call them. They were efficient with all notifications, the repairman Shane called to let me know he was on his way and I received a picture and a history of Shane. That in itself was comforting. Shane was professional, on time, went over my options, completed the job, tested everything, cleaned up and left. WOW!, I was impressed. I’m so happy I called them and will definitely recommend them.

The appointment was scheduled within one day, and for a Saturday. The technician arrived on time. He was knowledgeable, fixed the problem with our remote garage door openers on our cars and wall, and did not try to sell us unnecessary services. We appreciated his demeanor and professionalism. Nicholas Urena from Precision Garage Doors was great and exceeded my expectations. I called the company around noon and they arrived 3.5 hours later, same day. He helped me change my garage codes, a task that another garage door company could not accomplish. He also closely assessed the motor and the wiring, explaining the aspects that may become an issue in the near future. He provided multiple estimates for several areas I beleived might also need work. Nicholas was kind with a great personality. I felt very comfortable having him at the house and would call to request him in the future. Also, I found the prices to be extremely reasonable in comparison to other companies. Great experience. Our garage door broke on a Sunday morning with 2 cars trapped inside. Service was promised between 2 and 6 PM and the technician, Shane Fazal, came right on time, as promised. He assessed the problem and gave me a quote with options and was helpful with the pricing. While the cost was extremely expensive, we had few options to shop on a Sunday, so we agreed. Shane did an excellent job, was friendly and helpful and kept me informed as he did his work. He made sure we were satisfied before he left and informed me of other services that might be needed. He was terrific. But the cost was very high so unless you have an emergency like I did, shop if you care about price.

The technician, Ryan, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, personable and enthusiastic about his craft. However, I did not appreciate the minimum labor charge of $299 (for what appeared to be a minor remedy) for one hour’s worth of work, but which appeared to be less than one hour’s worth of work, with an additional fee to wind down the torsion spring for $75. With tax, I paid $406.26. Adding fuel to the fire, I selected Precision because of coupons received in the mail that were not ultimately useable, and when I called to state that I would like to use the coupons and better understand their billing practices, they made NO mention of the $299 minimum. I’ve had emergency garage door situations for more serious issues on emergency time frames where I paid less.
