Shane grew up in Guyana on a small island called Leguan, which is located at the head of the Essequibo River. He currently lives in Wantagh with his wife. After high school, Shane went to Trade School for metal works engineering and mechanical engineering. Some of his hobbies include cricket, soccer and hunting. Most people don’t know that Shane is very good at freehand sketching. In his free time, he mostly does woodworking and occasionally plays video games. One of Shane’s goals is to run his own home improvement business!

Precision was able to come within two business days and had lots of time slot options. I was updated about the arrival time for techs that day . The techs were professional and explained the problem and both the short term solution (fix) and what was needed long term to prevent the problem . They provided costs . The techs were courteous, knowledgeable and professional . I plan to call them in a few weeks to redo rollers on both doors .

After searching the web for a garage door repair company decided to go with Precision Overhead Garage Door. Loved the fact that I was able to book an appointment conveniently on their website. Also loved that I received both a text and a phone call with arrival time of technicians. Technicians Shane and Rocco were polite and courteous. Provided a thorough quote with options. Did not feel pressured and they worked with me to perform the services I wanted done. Shane and Rocco did an outstanding job replacing my broken torsion springs and getting my garage door working again. I am very satisfied with the overall service provided. Precision was recommended to me by a friend and I had planned to purchase a new garage door but after being lied to twice by the tech Shane, I will take my business elsewhere. First, he lied and tried to charge me the service fee when he knows and it’s also posted on the company website that the service fee is waived with repairs over $100. My repair was $180. Shane lied again when I asked him about the warranty for the new cables he installed. He stated there was only a warranty if I also get new springs. This didn’t seem right to me so I called the office and they confirmed there is a 90 day warranty for the cables and sent me a new invoice with the updated warranty information. I am waiting for a supervisor to get back to me. Do NOT recommend.

My service person was Shane. He was a very nice and professional young man. He clearly explained what was wrong with my garage door and my options. He explained the price of each service, and which were immediate and which were advisable. He made sure everything was correctly fixed and the door was in good working order before he left. I recommended this company to a friend and she used the company to replace her garage door. She thanked me and told me she was also pleased with everything.

We were impressed that we received emails indicating the progress on the delivery date for the door. Once we setup a date and time a reminder was sent. Our time was 8AM and Shaun called and said he was on the way. A nice gentleman who answered all of our concerns and questions. I asked to see the doors before he began and he opened the boxes for my review and he then proceeded to do his work. Within four hours he was done, explained how the everything works and was done. We're very satisfied.

They arrived on time after sending a text, worked diligently( especially in the cold) & fully explained and answered all our questions. They conducted themselves very professionally.
