Shane grew up in Guyana on a small island called Leguan, which is located at the head of the Essequibo River. He currently lives in Wantagh with his wife. After high school, Shane went to Trade School for metal works engineering and mechanical engineering. Some of his hobbies include cricket, soccer and hunting. Most people don’t know that Shane is very good at freehand sketching. In his free time, he mostly does woodworking and occasionally plays video games. One of Shane’s goals is to run his own home improvement business!

On Monday, 1/22/24 - a crew with Shane Fazal (I am sorry did not get the seconds gentlemen's name) came to my home and repaired two garage doors. One garage door complete with new motor, remote control and keypad and hardware. The other linkages, rollers and cables. The two men were courteous and explained the job to me step by step. I would base on today's experience whole heartedly recommend Precision Garage Door and its personnel.

I realized after 5 on Friday, 9/29, that I needed someone to look at my garage door opener. I went to the Internet to look up a company and the first one listed was Precision. I looked over the website and decided to call them. I made a reservation for Monday afternoon and they came promptly and Shane quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I learned about Precision Overhead Garage Door through a coupon from Valpak. The fact that they are A+ rated by the BBB helped make the decision to call them, as well as their offer for a senior discount. From the phone call to set up an appointment, to Shane servicing my garage door, the entire experience was great. The appointment was confirmed by email and Shane called a half hour before arriving. He was respectful, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. And...my garage door never worked so well, even when new!

Precision was able to come within two business days and had lots of time slot options. I was updated about the arrival time for techs that day . The techs were professional and explained the problem and both the short term solution (fix) and what was needed long term to prevent the problem . They provided costs . The techs were courteous, knowledgeable and professional . I plan to call them in a few weeks to redo rollers on both doors .

Precision was recommended to me by a friend and I had planned to purchase a new garage door but after being lied to twice by the tech Shane, I will take my business elsewhere. First, he lied and tried to charge me the service fee when he knows and it’s also posted on the company website that the service fee is waived with repairs over $100. My repair was $180. Shane lied again when I asked him about the warranty for the new cables he installed. He stated there was only a warranty if I also get new springs. This didn’t seem right to me so I called the office and they confirmed there is a 90 day warranty for the cables and sent me a new invoice with the updated warranty information. I am waiting for a supervisor to get back to me. Do NOT recommend.

I had my garage door opener replaced by Precision, and I am extremely pleased with the result. Shane, the technician, did a fantastic job explaining everything and demonstrating the accompanying app. The improvement is like night and day, and the new opener operates quietly as well. I am very satisfied with the service and the product provided by Precision.
