The service appointment and communication before and after the appointment were excellent. The $150 trip visit and $299 minimum service charge for a fix that required straightening a bolt seems excessive.

Precision installed my garage door opener last year, and did a great job. Today I couldn't get the door to stay closed, it kept opening. After a quick call, a technician, Israel, was here within the hour, made a quick reset, and resolved the problem. There was no charge! I would not hesitate to use this company for any garage door or opener repairs or installations. They are extremely professional and reliable.

These guys are amazing! From scheduling to Rob the Manager checking in on progress, down to ultimately Albert who did the actual working was all smooth, professional, and highly skilled. I changed my springs, rollers, cables. and found out my door did not even have safety cables which they installed! Additionally, my door needed a little work which they comped. I could not be happier with this service, I almost thought I needed new doors, but they fixed everything!!!!

The technician, Nick, was great. He fixed the problem and was very courteous and professional. I was very happy with his service and the job he did. Prices were a little outrageous. He was able to help get 10% off the original cost but if I had time to shop around more I would have. We didn’t need any parts for our repair and paid $450 (with the discount) for about an hour and a half of labor.

Tech Lewis R, really great guy. Knowledgeable and trusting. I would hire him for my company. I needed a new opener due to age of system and a broken spring/ misc repairs. Prior homeowners install. Great job by Lewis. Very concerned about the price and the markup of stock items used. The lift master opener is a generic stock item selling retail for $400 max. Complete kit. Your price was $1700. Nylon rollers, Aircraft cable markup must be way over 10 times cost. I get tariffs but…. I needed the work done, your company is highly recommended and you get what you pay for. But that $3500 invoice for an opener install, springs, pulley + miscellaneous was high. I would recommend your company for the quality and personal. Price/cost not so much.

Ryan and his partner showed up right when they said they would. They were curtious and professional. Ryan inspected my whole set up and recommended what needed to be replaced immediately and what could be done to increase the longevity of my set up. No pressure to replace anything that didn’t need to be replaced. Once I decided what I wanted to replace they got right to work and had my garage door operational within an hour. Over all great experience would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their garage. They’re very knowledgeable and don’t pressure you into anything you don’t need/want.

Three times I’ve used Precision Garage Door - 2 times in LI and one time in NC. Where possible, I endeavor to work with companies who specialize in their craft - that now includes garage doors. In all three instances, these guys have REALLY known their stuff and I’ve enjoyed a very positive experience across the board. As per the usual, I received a reminder the day before my appointment, which was helpful since I admittedly forget about it. Also per the usual, I received proactive updates on timing and a bio the technician prior to arrival. John was our guy today - he was professional, knowledgeable and clear in his communication - top grades in my view. My house in NC will need new springs in a year or so and I fully plan to use Precision for the job.
