I am a first-time customer of Precision Door, and I am very impressed with the company. My garage door opener was not working properly and after viewing Precision's youtube video, I was not able to fix it. I called the company's Plainview location and the woman on the phone was very courteous and helpful. She said she could have a repairman at my house that day, and he would arrive between 12 and 4 PM. He arrived just after 12 noon after notifying me that he was on his way. Lewis Rodriguez was very courteous and helpful as well. He explained that he would trouble-shoot the problem, and after doing so gave me 4 options. I chose the least expensive and he overhauled the existing door opener, which works just fine now. Lewis is a highly skilled and efficient worker. I am considering new garage doors for my vacation home and will definitely contact Precision Doors when I am ready.

After searching the web for a garage door repair company decided to go with Precision Overhead Garage Door. Loved the fact that I was able to book an appointment conveniently on their website. Also loved that I received both a text and a phone call with arrival time of technicians. Technicians Shane and Rocco were polite and courteous. Provided a thorough quote with options. Did not feel pressured and they worked with me to perform the services I wanted done. Shane and Rocco did an outstanding job replacing my broken torsion springs and getting my garage door working again. I am very satisfied with the overall service provided. George was a true professional. He did an assessment. Explained all my options. Quoted me a price for each Which included everything ( taxes, parts, labor ) so when I paid at the end, it was the exact same number I was quoted. Great move by company. Also nice to send me his photo and bio. I understand the pic for security reasons. But the bio also humanizes him, before he arrives. Not sure I need to know he likes “ long walks “ - I want him to fix my garage door, I don’t wanna date him. However, after seeing his work ethic, and attitude, if I had a daughter, I WOULD want her to date him. George helps make your firm look wonderful to the end customer. He deserves a raise, and a promotion. Your lucky to have him. PS - you should add a gratuity option to the credit card payment. If ya need a testimonial for a commercial, lemme know

My garage door wouldn't open and both garage doors needed overhaul. My 14 year old Liftmaster system is still working. Israel did NOT try to sell me new motors (which we didn't need) and instead gave me multiple options of: 1. work that NEEDED to be done and 2. in additional to needed work, other things that could be done to make my system work better. He replaced broken keypad, fixed an interior garage opener for one door that wasn't working, replaced torsion springs and nylon rollers. The system is good as new and my husband and I couldn't be happier. We called last night for appointment and Israel was here first thing in the morning. He called when he was on his way. Totally professional and friendly. Thank you! Highly recommend. Appreciate that this is a local, BBB and Angi rated company.

Excellent work. Communication was excellent on arrival, who was coming, etc. After a quick explanation of problem and inspection, I was offered options on moving forward. Work was done correctly, tested and approved. Highly recommend them. This was a fix, but may be replacing entire system in future due to renovations. Will not hesitate to use them again.

Called for a repair for stretched spring and noisy operation. We were offered a time frame the next day and Israel H called a half hour before arrival within the time frame offered. He reviewed our entire situation, made several recommendations,and began the work we authorized quickly, efficiently and neatly. He thoroughly explained each procedure. Very professional and knowledgeable. Not only did he replace the springs but attended to a few minor issues that he said would make the operation work better. Precision was recommended to me by a friend and I had planned to purchase a new garage door but after being lied to twice by the tech Shane, I will take my business elsewhere. First, he lied and tried to charge me the service fee when he knows and it’s also posted on the company website that the service fee is waived with repairs over $100. My repair was $180. Shane lied again when I asked him about the warranty for the new cables he installed. He stated there was only a warranty if I also get new springs. This didn’t seem right to me so I called the office and they confirmed there is a 90 day warranty for the cables and sent me a new invoice with the updated warranty information. I am waiting for a supervisor to get back to me. Do NOT recommend.

He explained the price of each service, and which were immediate and which were advisable. He made sure everything was correctly fixed and the door was in good working order before he left.
