Had my garage installed a year ago and had a recent problem with my WiFi. When I called for a service appointment they could not tell me if it was covered by warranty and da aid it would be $70. They get here and charge $345 for a 5 minute fix that I could have and would have done myself if I was told when I made the appointment. Felt like a bait and switch. Way overpriced for such an easy fix

Precision Garage Door is amazing. My experience two years ago on my purchase of a new door was 5 star all around. From the sales person to the customer service reps to the installers. All personnel extremely professional, and go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I have strongly recommended them to anyone who asks. My current experience just reconfirmed my opinion. I called them up to troubleshoot an issue, they had a service tech at my house the very next morning. The technician, Israel, was above and beyond professional, courteous, and extremely competent in diagnosing and rectifying the issue. He explained in detail the cause of the issue and what he did to rectify. But what amazed me the most was that there wasn’t even a billing charge for a service call or the repair. In comparison, I had an electrician and a generator technician at the house the previous week and they both wanted $175 just to walk in the door, and the Generator technician was a no show on the scheduled date. The Precision Garage tech not only arrived at the scheduled time, he called me to give me an ETA when he was on his way. Once again an extremely positive 5 star experience with Precision Garage Door, not many companies out there these days that check all the boxes in professionalism, customer service, competence, integrity, and complete customer satisfaction in all aspects.

I called Precision and was very pleased with Danny Salas who is the technician sent to my house. Danny was very pleasant to work with, he explained everything as well as showed me the issues prior to doing any work. The technician, Ryan Swan showed up on time and was very courteous especially when I told him that after I checked further when he was on his way and I discovered that all the wall receptacles apparently did not have power but all the lights in the garage were working. We obviously had an electrical problem but he he was very pleasant and checked what he could but it was not an issue he could address. I advised I had already called the electrician and was very sorry I did not check further before calling for an appointment. Great communication leading up to the service. Called early to let me know they were running a little slow and going to be later in the service window time. Always appreciate the extra communication. Technician, Lewis, was clear with explaining the issues and provided multiple options of repair and I didn’t feel pushed into the most expensive work. He performed the work diligently and left the garage cleaner than it was before he arrived. And the online booking was simple. Highly recommend.

First of all, let me compliment this company on its communication with the homeowner before they even arrive. Second of all, it’s really nice to get a photograph of and a description of the installer. Israel, Hixson not only did an amazing job, but was so polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. He set me up with a new remote for my garage door, programmed my vehicle, greased the hinges and thoroughly checked everything. John was excellent---thorough, patient, and made sure I understood everything necessary. He explained how to use the car remote built-in feature, how to open & close manually in case of a blackout, explained certain features on the keypad in the garage, how to grease the hinges and more. I definitely feel comfortable now and everything is working perfectly. I will spread reviews on Google, Facebook and on the Hamlet Facebook site. I'd like to have John perform future service calls if possible. He's a genuinely nice guy.

This is "Part One" of what will be a two-part review. A few weeks ago, our garage door broke; it seems that a spring gave out. Since this was a 25 year old door, a Craftsman one purchased from Sears (RIP, Sears...you were great!), I knew that we needed to find another repair service. After doing my research, and seeing the great reviews for Precision, I gave them a call. Within 24 hours, I had one of their techs at the house. What I loved and what impressed me from the beginning, was the close contact they provided. Not only did we get an email confirmation, but we also received text messages tracking the tech, and giving us a photo with some background information about them. This was reassuring, as it is nice to know who is showing up, and that the person is who they say they are. We met Nick, who was from the first moment we met him, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He took his time, evaluated the situation, and provided us with 3 options to consider. Not for one minute did we feel pressured or upsold; we felt confident and informed. In the end, we opted for a new door. We are in no rush, so we will be waiting 4-6 weeks for the door. What impressed us further, was, when Nick was about to leave, he told us that he may have something in the truck that would help the door function better while we waited for the new door to be installed later this summer. WHO DOES THIS!!!! Nick was great, and a true representation of what exceptional customer service should look like. We look forward to getting our new door installed some time in early July. The entire process from setting up the appointment to the install of the new equipment was easy and efficient. My technician, Ryan, was excellent.
