I had a sensor problem. The tech only wanted to replace my whole unit as well as the door springs and cables for a total of $1900. Just to do a "system reset" the minimum quote was $545. I turned him down and sent him home. Then I realized he had left the door unclipped from the lift chain and the sensor wires unplugged. I clipped the door back into the chain and reinserted the wires and the door works perfectly. This left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would not use Precision door again.

We bought a garage door during covid and its falling apart. We called the company several times and no one wants to fix it.Everyone is blaming someone different. We spent thousands of dollars . Very sad that no one will help. Horrible business.

Precision was recommended to me by a friend and I had planned to purchase a new garage door but after being lied to twice by the tech Shane, I will take my business elsewhere. First, he lied and tried to charge me the service fee when he knows and it’s also posted on the company website that the service fee is waived with repairs over $100. My repair was $180. Shane lied again when I asked him about the warranty for the new cables he installed. He stated there was only a warranty if I also get new springs. This didn’t seem right to me so I called the office and they confirmed there is a 90 day warranty for the cables and sent me a new invoice with the updated warranty information. I am waiting for a supervisor to get back to me. Do NOT recommend.

Isaac Rodriquez did a fine job and everything is working. He did attempt to sell me a lift master motor for 1796 dollars. I declined and he did the job quickly and flawlessly with a minimum (2) part replacements. He had to get into my garage and that took him hardly any time at all. The price of 695 for what he did is outlandish and I will be disputing it with my credit card company. Isaac is a nice person but the prices you charge a customer is nothing less than highway robbery

Not satisfied at all I was over charged for work I didn’t need done because I wasn’t home to question it. Not only didn’t I need the work I found out the parts I was charged hundreds of dollars for can be bought for less than $50. I will neve use or recommend this company again. Preparing to file complaint with the better business bureau. Shameful.

I had used Precision in Texas and was completely satisfied with broken Spring replacement. However, I was completely dissatisfied with Precision of Long Island/Plainview with broken Spring replacement as the technician would not perform the repair that I had requested and pre-established with their office. Repairman walked off the job.

I paid 200 to get a door fixed and nothing got fixed. He thinks it is a logic board but does not know. He also tells me to call the guy who put in the door. He came and fixed is 2 seconds. I do not think your technician knew what he was doing. Disappointed

Had to wait a week to get an appointment. Received numerous annoying emails and text messages about irrelevant info regarding the salesperson —- only to have an inexperienced fellow come out to tell me that he can’t replace the exact door and cannot replace the track to heavy duty —- the issue is that he had no answers and had to call his office to get answers. If that were the case - who ever he spoke to in the office should have spoken directly to me at the time of my original call to figure out that they could not replace with the same exact door.... I assume they wanted to push whatever door manufacturer they wanted to, not realizing that we have another garage door to match.

I would not use nor recommend this company to anyone. $74 to tell me it'll cost $200 to remove two nails, move the weather stripping an inch and tap them back in. They're words not mine. 5 minutes they were here cost $74 to tell me 5 minutes of work would cost $200. Go to a different company, your money will be better spent. Never paid $74 for an estimate for anything. On a good note, the employee who showed was very nice.

Had Home Depot install a Chamberlain belt driven 3/4 hp for $315. Other parts NOT NEEDED. Let the buyer beware.

Your workers were beyond courteous & professional. They were great! Your company on the other hand... leaves much to be desired. They been back to my house 3x for a garage door that is under a year old. Scheduling was horrrendous. They say between 12-2, then send confirmation email saying 2 & up to 4 hrs after! Had to reschedule first appt. due to fact weren’t at house by 2. Second appt. didn’t get there until 2:15, again not workers fault, scheduling department (I figured since they screwed up 1st appt., maybe they would put me first or at least make sure to get to my home before 2... nope). Screws on my less than year old door are rusty, all 12. If I waited any longer would be rust marks all down front of it. Flat piece behind handle is warped, cheap material (plastic on $2k door). Unbelievable! Again people in customer service were very nice and professional, just cheap material and scheduling just a mess. Don’t know how this business stays open.

I had a garage door opener installed and a new garage door with new roller springs etc... Installation went ok. Had to call them back for service 3 times for garage door coming off track. Second time they never showed up had to call manager. Service was extremely poor. I had recommended Precision to a relative after I had new garage door installed and they had the same problem. Would not recommend............

Asked them to fix my garage door. The technician said it couldn't be repaired and our other door was broken, as well. He quoted $2200 to replace both doors including all tracks, springs and hardware. I fixed both doors for $87.37 with parts from Home Depot. Thanks Precision...not a good policy to try to take advantage of customers. Change your website...you don't fix anything.

Biggest scammers on the planet. We paid around $1100 for a garage door opener that you could purchase from home depot for around 3 to $400. I made piece with that price because the original tech that came to our house told my wife and I that if we had any problems in the future that they would come and fix it and Due to a recent illness, I am handicapped and figured that I could no longer do any work, so it sounded like a fair deal. the tech also made it sound that we would not be charged for problems given the high price tag premium that we paid. with that said. we had a problem with the key pad not working , they sent out a tech and my wife was charged $350 for what??????????? fixing a battery in a key pad? I thought that because we paid such a high premium for the origingal install, that we would not be charged or at least be charged something reasonable. l guess I was wrong. stay away from these scammers.
