Jamie came when he said he would (he had called me first). He itemized my bill and told me what original parts he could reuse and showed me what parts needed to be replaced. he was very quick and I had my door operational within a half hour. He tested it and left.

For four pulleys, two springs, and cable you charged me just under $1,100. I didn’t know any better and reviwed part prices after the repair to see that you price gouged me on parts. I feel like a fool now. For a repair job that should have been around $450 you charged me $1,300.

No, Doug and I spoke. He said you build your profit into your itemized materials on the contract. We disagree that this is legal. I believe it violates GBL 349 and suggested he check with higher executives and corporate counsel. I don’t believe he will. He also said I was incorrectly billed $150 on the contract and would also apply a 10% discount. I doubt I receive either.
