Definitely timey and courteous. I called for a new opener since I cannot locate the old one and have bought a new car - that was all! Definitely got the feeling he was trying to sell me way more than I needed. The garage door if 5 years old and in perfect shape. It is used maybe once a day. The springs are new (installed by you but he had no records of this). Wanted $445 for the opener and to hook it up to my car!!! The opener was $95 and he wanted $350 to hook it up to my brand new car which certainly has instructions and can be done by me. He seemed disappointed when I only wanted the new opener. Do they work on commisson?

I recently had my garage door serviced by Precision Garage Door of Long Island, and overall the experience was very positive. The technician who came out was excellent—professional, well-spoken, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything in detail, walked me through my options, and broke down the cost of each repair before starting any work. During the visit, he replaced the keypad, provided a small remote, installed new coils, added safety cables, and replaced around 20 small wheels on the tracks. The work itself was completed in about an hour, and everything is now functioning smoothly. The only downside for me was the price. The cost felt significantly higher than expected. Sticker shock. While I fully appreciate paying for quality service and expertise, the total cost felt quite high relative to the parts and time / labor (one hours) involved. That said, the workmanship and professionalism were top-notch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again if needed. If you’re looking for reliable, skilled service and are comfortable with premium pricing, they will take great care of you.

The company is quick to send a tech. Tech was there within the hour of my call. We are very happy with their door, they are very well made. Our technician Lewis was prompt and courteous. The technician who was dispatched to address my issue performed excellently. However, I was taken aback by the cost of a ten-minute service call to push a reprogram button, especially after already investing significantly in replacing my garage doors. I attempted to observe the procedure, but I was unable to view the controller's reset process. Unfortunately, the control panel is malfunctioning again. It would be beneficial to have the steps for resetting the control panels so I can avoid incurring another $300+ expense for a brief task.

My wife and I met with John Fusco. He explained in detail on what we are to expect with the new replacement garage door purchase. It will be about seven weeks for the installation to occur. Amazing service! Incredibly knowledgable! And very, very nice! Highly recommend! My garage door (springs) broke on Monday night. Couldn’t open the garage door, 2 cars locked inside, only 1 car outside. Major problem. Called Precision at 8pm Monday night - made an appt for Tuesday btwn 12-4. Excellent customer service from initial phone call to Meredith (on a Sunday) to installation the next day. We received a text telling us the name of the installer (John Hixson) with a photo and brief bio on him (nice touch!). John called before arriving in a clearly marked, looked-like-new van. He assessed the situation with our garage door and provided three different options for fixing it.
