Our garage door broke on a Sunday morning with 2 cars trapped inside. Service was promised between 2 and 6 PM and the technician, Shane Fazal, came right on time, as promised. He assessed the problem and gave me a quote with options and was helpful with the pricing. While the cost was extremely expensive, we had few options to shop on a Sunday, so we agreed. Shane did an excellent job, was friendly and helpful and kept me informed as he did his work. He made sure we were satisfied before he left and informed me of other services that might be needed. He was terrific. But the cost was very high so unless you have an emergency like I did, shop if you care about price.

He lubricated all the necessary parts and pointed out a weakness in the cable line that may present a problem in the future. The technician, Ryan, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, personable and enthusiastic about his craft. However, I did not appreciate the minimum labor charge of $299 (for what appeared to be a minor remedy) for one hour’s worth of work, but which appeared to be less than one hour’s worth of work, with an additional fee to wind down the torsion spring for $75. With tax, I paid $406.26. Adding fuel to the fire, I selected Precision because of coupons received in the mail that were not ultimately useable, and when I called to state that I would like to use the coupons and better understand their billing practices, they made NO mention of the $299 minimum. I’ve had emergency garage door situations for more serious issues on emergency time frames where I paid less.

I made an appointment for an opener repair. Unfortunately, it was beyond repair and I needed a new opener. Nick was patient with my numerous questions and was able to offer several options so I could make an informed decision. I feel secure that I have a new opener that is safe and maintenance free. The new opener is so quiet!!!

I had a long running issue with the garage safety sensors, whereby the garage door would never close, even in indirect sunlight. We tried various shields but to no avail. Finally we booked an appointment with Precision and they were able to get us an appointment on the same day! While waiting for the appointment George was in constant contact to inform us of his arrival time and when he would complete his prior job. When he arrived he diagnosed the problem and suggested a few solutions including some additional fixes which we saw would be necessary in the near future. He provided us 4 quotes with various options and once we selected one, he was able to work on the garage and complete the task in very efficient time. I was finally able to test the fix today while it was sunny and the garage door is finally working as expected, after over a year of hassle. Thank you to Rob, George and Precision! Julian N

We’ve had a broken garage door for almost year and after I kept telling myself I would fix it… I got a flyer in the mail for Precision. A quick check of their Google Business rating gave me the confidence to try them out. I called yesterday, spoke with a very friendly and knowledge staff member (Latoya), and she had someone here by 830am this morning. George was a pleasure to work with — courteous, articulate, thoughtful and fast. Our door was working again in under an hour. If we ever need service again, I’ll be calling Precision and asking for George for sure.
